Enjoy your summer vacation!!
Elk Island Public Schools' (EIPS) 2008/2009 Tools for School campaign kicks off on June 27 and runs until mid-September. This United Way initiative encourages members of the community to donate school supplies for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 whose families have limited resources available to purchase these supplies.
Would your child benefit from a Tools for School backpack? Talk to your school principal when you register this fall, or when the school office reopens in August.
You can make a donation to the Tools for School program when you head out for back-to-school shopping this summer. Donation boxes are located at various businesses in Edmonton and surrounding areas. All school supply donations made to the program are distributed in the community from which they were collected.
